Scouting Interfaith Hike

On Sept. 1, more than 100 Girl and Boy Scouts, their leaders and families participated in the Great Salt Lake Council’s Interfaith Hike, visiting various places of worship to learn about different faiths in the local area. In addition to visiting the Cathedral of the Madeleine, where they received a historical briefing from Deacon Lynn Johnson (shown), scouts visited the First United Methodist Church, St. Mark Episcopal Cathedral, and also heard from Muslim and Sikh leaders.
