Sister Henrietta Wilke

VICTORY NOLL, Ind. — Holy Cross Sister Henrietta Wilke, 81, died Aug. 25, in the Holy Family Health Care Center in Victory Noll, Ind.

Sr. Henrietta was born in St. Rose, Ill., Jan. 12, 1926, to Stephen Wilke and Mary Tebbe Wilke. Sr. Henrietta entered the Congregation of Our Lady of Victory Missionary Sisters Oct. 27, 1944, and made her first vows Aug. 5, 1947. She served in missions in Arizona, California, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Utah, and Vermont. She served as coordinator of Victory Noll (Holy Family and Our Lady of Victory buildings) for a total of 13 years.

She is survived by her sisters, Holy Cross Sister Martha Wilke, Holy Cross Sister Priscilla Wilke, both of Victory Noll, Ill., Mary Ann Hempen, St. Rose, Ill., Bertha Kluemke, Breese, Ill., and Irma Korte, Highland, Ill; and a brother, Andrew Wilke, St. Rose, Ill.

A Mass of the Resurrection was celebrated at the Victory Noll Memorial Chapel. Burial was in the Victory Noll Cemetery.
