NOTRE DAME, Ind. — Holy Cross Sister M. Laurencita (Frances Loretta Maloney), 95, died Sept. 27, at Saint Mary’s Convent, Notre Dame, Ind. Sister Laurencita was born March 14, 1911, in San Francisco, Calif. In her apostolic service, she was an elementary school teacher in Ventura, Woodland, and Los Angeles, Calif. She was a health care administrator in hospitals in California, Utah, Idaho, Maryland, and Ohio. She was Superior in Ventura, Calif., and in parish ministry in Redwood City, Calif. From 1946 to 1953, Sr. Laurencita was personnel director, assistant administrator, and controller at Holy Cross Hospital, Salt Lake City. A funeral Mass was celebrated at the Church of Our Lady of Loretto, Notre Dame, Ind.
