St. Joseph the Worker Parish in West Jordan presented an evening of choral music at their "Something Beautiful for God" concert April 19. The event took place at Judge Memorial Catholic High School Auditorium. The concert featured the newly formed Filipino-American group, The Salt Lake Fil-Am Vocal Ensemble with choral master Rey Roa. The group sang a selection of classical, contemporary, religious and inspirational music that inspired the audience. Approximately 450 people attended the concert. All proceeds went to the St. Joseph the Worker New Church Fund. Of special interest at the event was a display of architects Anne Moone’s and John Sparano’s latest design for the new church. St. Joseph the Worker Parish would like to extend their great appreciation to Rey Roa, the Salt Lake Fil-Am Vocal Ensemble, Judge Memorial Catholic High School for use of their facilities, all volunteers and to all those who attended. The event was truly "something beautiful for God."
