BOUNTIFUL — Grandparents Day is one of the most exciting days of the school year for St. Olaf School students.

There were 200 grandparents, parents, and special guests who came to school with 155 students Jan. 31, for a special turkey dinner and a tour of the school.

"The students were so excited to show off the school," said JoAnn Emery, St. Olaf principal. "We are grateful to have these guests come to our school because they are the ones who support us."

The first grade students wrote and performed a penguin puppet show for the guests, and the third grade class memorized and recited poetry.
