For 18 years, Box Elder County Catholics have walked the 20 miles from St. Henry Parish in Brigham City to Santa Ana Mission in Tremonton to memorialize Christ’s path to the crucifixion. "It’s important to make this kind of sacrifice for God, which after what Jesus did for us is like nothing," said Gracie Tello of Santa Ana Mission April 7 during this year’s Way of the Cross. Adolfo Longoria of St. Henry Parish said, "We do this because it is a way to live and spread the Gospel." Irma Longoria, Adolfo’s wife, walked to the outskirts of Brigham City even though she had just undergone double knee replacement surgery. Shown, the procession makes its way through downtown Brigham City in the early morning before progressing through the treeless fields of Box Elder County.  IC photos by Christopher Gray
