Utah Will Celebrate Refugees July 15

The annual State of Utah World Refugee Day celebration will be from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 15. The event at Liberty Park , 600 East 1300 South, SLC, will include cultural food and entertainment, a global market, and kids’ activities, and refugee youth volleyball and soccer championship games. A 5K “Run for Refugees” fun run/walk will be held in conjunction with the celebration. For information, visit www.burmamission.org/runforrefugees.php. All proceeds from the race benefit refugee youth education.
