Warm coats for needy kids

Patrick Gotti of Utah Knights of Columbus Council 6010, Saint Rose of Lima Parish, helps a boy find a well-fitting coat during the Coats for Kids distribution in Ogden on Dec. 7 at Catholic Community Services. The Knights, in conjunction with CCS, gave coats to 371 children. Others were presented to parents who said they had other children at home without a coat. Also, some adult coats donated by the Jobs Corps were given out. The Knights donated many of the coats for the children; for example, Gotti personally donated more than 40. The children also received hats and gloves as well as oral hygiene products and candy.
