Young Adult Advent Gathering

Young people ages 21 to 35 from various parishes in the Diocese of Salt Lake City participated in an Advent reflection at the Cathedral of the Madeleine on Dec. 4. The event was part of Christ in the City, a weekly gathering sponsored by the cathedral’s young adult ministry. Deacon Joaquin Mixco of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church presented the reflection, which was followed by silent prayer, music and the Sacrament of Reconciliation. The Blessed Sacrament was exposed for adoration as part of a special 40-hour period of prayer with a special emphasis for vocations.
