The  Sil Lum Kung Fu Club performs the Chinese Lion Dance during the Sept. 15 Carmelite Fair. The annual fair is the primary fundraiser for the monastery in Holladay, and at the Mass before the event opened Mother Maureen Goodwin thanked the volunteers who run the event. She and Sister Therese Bui also joined fairgoers at noon to thank them and lead the Angeles. "This is the one event that makes it possible for us sisters to continue our lives of intercessory prayer here in the diocese," Mother Maureen said.
