SALT LAKE CITY — Alberto Najar Reyes, 72, passed away Sept. 29, 2012.

Reyes was born Dec. 5, 1939 in Jalisco, Mexico to Florencio Najar and Sotera Reyes.

Reyes is survived by his wife, Martha Najar; sons Javier, Israel and Daniel; daughter Rebeca; son-in-law Benito Perez; a granddaughter; sisters Georgina and Antonia and brother Francisco.

Reyes was preceded in death by his parents, Florencio and Sotera.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
