The Most Rev. John C. Wester, Bishop of Salt Lake City, celebrates All Souls’ Day in the mausoleum at Mt. Cavalry Catholic Cemetery. In his homily, Bishop Wester said that All Souls’ Day is a time when Catholics emphasize their relationships with those who have died. These relationships haven’t ended, Bishop Wester said, but rather continue on in Jesus, because "in Christ we are one with all those who have gone before us…. We will gather again and again around this table of the Lord, knowing that in Christ there is no East nor West, there is no death; we are one forever with our loving God."
