Annual Priest Convocation

Jesuit Father Allan Figueroa Deck was the presenter at the Diocese of Salt Lake City priests' annual autumn convocation.

Our priests gathered for their annual autumn convocation in Park City several weeks ago. It was a wonderful get-together around the theme of intercultural communities. Father Allan Figueroa Deck, SJ, was the presenter; he is the director of the office of intercultural affairs at the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. He gave us some wonderful presentations that were to the point and filled with great insights. It was enjoyable to be with the priests for a few days and everyone seemed to be enjoying the opportunity for deepening the bonds that unite. I am grateful to all those who covered the parishes during the convocation.
