Novena for Our Lady of Guadalupe — Beginning Dec. 3, each night there will be Mass in Spanish at 6 p.m., followed by a rosary, Benediction and a reception in the gym. On Dec. 11 at midnight there will be Mañanitas, Mass, Benediction and roses. On the last day of the novena, Dec. 12, Mass will be celebrated at noon and 6 p.m. at Saint Francis Xavier Parish, 4501 West 5215 South, Kearns.
Advent penance service — Wednesday, Dec. 4, beginning at 6 p.m. at Saint Catherine of Siena/Newman Center, 170 University, SLC. Potluck dinner begins at 6 p.m.; Advent penance service begins at 7 p.m. and a candlelight Mass at 9 p.m. Many priests will be available to hear your confession.

Memory Christmas Trees — Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery will be setting up Memory Christmas Trees in both the Holy Cross and Risen Savior mausoleums.
