Solemn Vespers — Bishop Oscar A. Solis will preside at Solemn Vespers Monday, March 6, 7 p.m. in the Cathedral of the Madeleine, 309 E. South Temple., SLC. Free and open to the public.

Bishop’s Installation — Bishop Oscar A. Solis will be installed as 10th Bishop of Salt Lake City on Tuesday, March 7, 2 p.m. in the Cathedral of the Madeleine, 309 E. South Temple., SLC. Seating by invitation only.
 
Public Reception — for Bishop Oscar A. Solis will be Tuesday, March 7, 6-8 p.m. at the Salt Lake City Marriott Downtown at City Creek, 75 S. West Temple.

“9 to 5” — presented by St. Joseph CHS. March 8-10 at 7 p.m. each night, and March 11 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., in the school’s Black Box Theater, 1790 Lake St., Ogden. Tickets: $9/student, $12/adult, $20/ reserved VIP seating.

Lenten Retreat — March 10-11 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 4050 South 3900 West, West Haven. Includes Mass, Adoration, Stations of the Cross, a movie and a soup and salad dinner on March 10. The retreat continues Saturday, March 11 with a silent Marian retreat with Fr. Gregory Dick, O. Praem. from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Suggested free-will offering: $10. Eccles Organ Festival — Friday, March 10, 4 p.m. at the University of Utah’s Libby Gardner Concert Hall, 1375 Presidents Circle, SLC. Diocesan Rite of Election & Call to Continuing Conversion — Saturday, March 11, 1:30 p.m. in the Cathedral of the Madeleine, 309 E. South Temple, for the Eastern, Northern and Southwestern deaneries. The celebrant for the event is Bishop Oscar Solis.

Lenten Concert — Saturday, March 11, 7 p.m. in Holy Family Catholic Church, 1100 East 5550 South, Ogden. Utopia Early Music will present a concert of music by Baroque women composers known as the Singing Ladies of Ferrara. Free and open to the public.

Lenten Retreat — Saturday, March 11, 2 p.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 7405 S. Redwood Road, West Jordan. Deacon Sunday Espinoza will speak on using the 40 days of Lent as personal preparation for Holy Week and Easter. Free; all are welcome.

Game Night — Saturday, March 11, 7:00 p.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Church Social Hall, 670 South 1100 East, SLC.  Cost: $15/games, $5 dinner.

Saint Patrick’s Day Parade — Saturday, March 18, 10 a.m. at the The Gateway, 400 West 100 South, SLC. Bishop Oscar A. Solis will be the honorary marshal of the parade, which is hosted by the Hibernian Society of Utah.

Lay Dominican Inquirer’s Class — Sunday, March 19, 12:30-1:30 p.m. in the St. Catherine of Siena Newman Center library lounge (basement area), 170 University St., SLC. The class will give information about Lay Dominicans and what they do for the community and Church. Free and open to the public. 

Sacred Music Evening — Sunday, March 19, at 6 p.m. in the Salt Lake Tabernacle, Temple Square, SLC. A night of prayer, music, dance and presentations hosted by the Salt Lake Interfaith Roundtable. For free tickets, visit lds.org.

Sarah Hart Concert — Contemporary Catholic musician Sarah Hart will perform March 24, 7 p.m., at Judge Memorial CHS, 650 South 1100 East, SLC. Free and open to the public.

Help Needed — Saint Joseph’s Villa Chapel is looking for liturgical musicians (volunteers) for their 11:30 a.m. Masses, particularly on the second and fourth Sunday of each month. Also needed are volunteers to help residents to and from their rooms to attend Mass. Ushers, lectors and Extraordinary Ministers of the Holy Eucharist also are needed Contact Fr.
