Meet the faculty, staff and administration; talk with students and coaches; tour the campus; find out how to set up a personal shadow day and learn about the college-preparatory program. St. Ambrose Turkey Bingo — Friday, Nov. 21,  6:30 p.m. in the Saint Ambrose Parish social hall, 2315 Redondo Ave., SLC. Hosted by Boy Scout Troop 202; open to all friends and family of the Catholic and scouting communities. More than 10 turkeys to win.

Dinner and Bingo — Friday, Nov. 21, 6 p.m., Saint Thomas More Parish’s Meyer Hall, 3015 Creek Road, Cottonwood Heights. Cost is $14, includes dinner and Bingo.  Must be 18 years or older to attend.

 

St. Patrick Turkey Bingo — Friday, Nov. 21, 6 p.m. at Saint Patrick Parish’s social hall, 1058 West 400 South, SLC. Hosted by the Saint Patrick Parish youth group. Cards are $4 each and are good for all 16 games. 

Holiday Blessings Boutique — Saturday, Nov. 22, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. in the Blessed Sacrament school gym, 9800 South 1700 East, Sandy. Hosted by the Blessed Sacrament’s Council of Catholic Women. Associates of the Sisters of the Holy Cross gathering — Saturday, Nov. 22, 9 a.m. - noon, at Holy Cross Ministries, 860 East 4500 South #204, SLC. Advent Vespers Procession — Sunday, Nov. 30, 5 p.m. in the Cathedral of the Madeleine, 309 East South Temple, SLC. The Cathedral choir will feature music of Palestrina, Ord and Manz. Free and open to the public. 

Children’s Nutcracker Ballet — Friday, Dec. 5, 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 6 at 2 p.m and 7:30 p.m. at Juan Diego Catholic High School, 11800 South 300 East, SLC. Tickets $12 for adults and $8 for children, students & seniors. A portion of the proceeds will go to the school.

Diocesan Advent Retreat — Saturday, Dec. 6, English session, 9 a.m.-noon and Spanish session 12:30-3:30 p.m. at Saint John the Baptist Parish, 11800 South 300 East, Draper. The retreat, given by Father Christopher Gray, will focus on Advent as a time to prepare for the coming of Christ in the fullness of time. Registration fee is $5 by Dec. 2; $8 at the door.
