Carmelite feast day — Monday, July 16, at 7 p.m. an evening Mass will be offered in the Carmelite Monastery Chapel on the sisters’ patronal feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. The Mass will be preceded by the public recitation of the rosary. All are invited to join the sisters to celebrate the feast honoring Our Lady of Mount Carmel.

Carmelite Fair Donations — Auction items and gift baskets for the 2012 Carmelite Fair are being sought. Tax- deductible donations can be dropped off at the monastery, 5714 Holladay Blvd., Holladay or call the sisters at 801-277-6075 to schedule a pickup. The fair, which will be Sept. 16 this year, is the main source of income in helping the sisters run the monastery.
