Remembering Downwinders — The eighth annual memorial service to honor those harmed by nuclear weapons will be Wednesday, Jan. 23, 7 p.m. at St. Ambrose Parish’s Vaughn Center, 1974 South 2300 East, SLC.

Vocations Night — Thursday, Jan. 24, 7-9 p.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 65 East 500 North, Orem. Teenagers and young adults will hear vocation stories from clergy and members of religious orders and laity. They also will have the opportunity to meet individually with the presenters. Free; all are welcome.

March For Life Utah — Saturday, Jan. 26, 1 p.m. at the Utah State Capitol, 350 State St., SLC. The Utah Knights of Columbus are inviting all local Catholic laity, priests and religious to join them, along with other members of the Pro-Life Utah coalition.

Respect for the Dignity of Life Day workshops — Saturday, Jan. 26, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 7405 S. Redwood Rd., West Jordan. Cost: $20. Speakers will be Fr. Joseph Delka, parochial vicar of the Cathedral of the Madeleine; Christina Malloy, 40 Days for Life coordinator at St. Catherine of Siena/Newman Center; and Jean Hill, director of the Diocese of Salt Lake City’s Peace & Justice Commission.
