Utah Steel Drum Festival — Saturday, Feb. 18, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Juan Diego Catholic HS auditorium, 300 East 11800 South, Draper. Open to the public, this competitive event features high school steel drum bands from throughout the state. This event is free.

Engineering Days — Feb. 23-24 at Juan Diego Catholic HS in the Little Theatre, 300 East 11400 South, Draper. The U of U College of Engineering will demonstrate all types of engineering (civil, mechanical, chemical, industrial, etc.). For information contact PhilipManley@jdchs.org.

Elder Care Presentation — Wednesday, Feb. 29, at 7 p.m., at Saint John the Baptist Parish, 300 East 11800 South, Draper. Topics include welfare and care of the elderly with special focus on health care needs and issues, estate planning, and community resources. A licensed counselor social worker and attorney will give the presentation and be available for questions.

Dine to Donate — Wednesday, Feb. 29 from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Village Inn at 4681 S. Redwood Rd., Taylorsville. Mention "Knights of Columbus" or "Special Olympics" when you order and 10 percent of your check will be donated to Special Olympics of Utah. Wednesday is also "Free Slice of Pie" night.
