Youth Rally — Saturday, April 20, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 65 East 500 North, Orem. For ages 12-18; parental consent form required. The Sacrament of Confirmation — for adult Catholics (no one younger than 18) will be celebrated on Saturday, May 4 and Saturday, June 1 at the Cathedral of the Madeleine. Both Masses will be at 1 p.m. This celebration is for adults who are seeking the Sacrament of Confirmation. The opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Eucharist for the first time will also be celebrated for those adult Catholics seeking to complete their Christian initiation. The Choir of the Cathedral of the Madeleine and the Choristers of the Madeleine Choir School will perform Gerald Finzi’s “Magnificat” and Benjamin Britten’s “St. Nicholas” Free and open to the public.

Patriotic Rosary — Members of St. George Parish pray a patriotic rosary twice a month using booklets purchased from Caritas of Birmingham. The St. George group invites all other parishes in the Diocese of Salt Lake City to pray the patriotic rosary.

The Office of Faith Formation is accepting applications for men and women who are interested in becoming certified lay ecclesial ministers for the Diocese of Salt Lake City.
