Festival Information — The Intermountain Catholic is planning a festival issue. If your parish will have a festival, golf tournament or other fundraiser this spring or summer, please send the information to atd@dioslc.org. The information should include the name of the event, date, time, place and cost, if any.

Juan Diego CHS ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ — April 18-20 at 7 p.m. in the Juan Diego CHS auditorium, 11800 South 300 East, Draper. Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for children and seniors; they may be purchased in advance at the high school or at the door the night of performances. Bishop’s Dinner for Scouters and Clergy — Sunday, April 21, at 4:30 p.m., at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 9800 South 1700 East, Sandy. All adults who play a role in scouting for Catholic boys and girls are invited to attend. Gather at 4:30 p.m. for appetizers; dinner at 5:15 p.m., with entertainment to follow. The Madeleine Festival of the Arts and Humanities — continues Sunday, April 21, at 8 p.m. in the Cathedral of the Madeleine, 309 E. South Temple, SLC. Jazz pianist Valerie Capers will perform with faculty from Brigham Young University. Free and open to the public. For information visit www.utcotm.org.

Dine-to-Donate — Two events to benefit Special Olympics. Both are Tuesday, April 23 from 5-9 p.m. Locations are Maurilio’s Restaurant, 3078 West 7800 South, West Jordan and Manuel’s El Burrito Restaurant and Cantina, 1145 S. State St., Clearfield.

Level I training — Saturday, April 27, from 9 a.m. - noon at the Pastoral Center, 27 C St., SLC. Training for those who minister Communion at Mass. Pre-registration is required; a $10 workshop fee covers books and materials. To register or for information, call Virginia in the Office of Liturgy, 801-328-8641 ext. 322, by April 23.

Angels Among Us — Saturday, April 27, beginning at 11 a.m. at Saint Martin de Porres Catholic Church, 4914 South 2200 West, Taylorsville. Some of the proceeds from this luncheon and fashion show fundraiser will be made to Catholic Community Services – Saint Vincent de Paul Soup Kitchen. Choral concert — Sunday, April 28 at 7 p.m. at Saint Ambrose Catholic Church, 1975 South 2300 East, SLC. The choirs of Saint Ambrose and St. Mark’s Episcopal churches will combine to present "Messe Sollennele" by Louis Vierne and "I Saw the Lord" by John Stainer.

The Madeleine Festival of the Arts and Humanities — Sunday, April 28 and Monday, April 29, at 8 p.m. in the Cathedral of the Madeleine, 309 E. South Temple, SLC. The Madeleine Festival of the Arts and Humanities — Sunday, May 5, at 8 p.m. in the Cathedral of the Madeleine, 309 E. South Temple, SLC. Family Movie Night — Saturday, May 11, 7 p.m. in the Saint Ambrose Parish hall, 1975 South 2300 East, SLC. The movie is "Soul Surfer." The event is sponsored by the Diocesan Commission for People with Disabilities to raise funds to send Utahns to the national Catholic conference. Cost is $5 per person, $10 per family. Saint Paul Parish’s Driving for Charity — Saturday, May 18 at Sky Mountain Golf Course, 985 N. Sky Mountain Blvd., Hurricane. The tournament will raise funds for the Southern Utah Veterans Coalition, the DOVE Center and local Catholic charities.
