Aurora G. Roca

SALT LAKE CITY — Aurora G. Roca, 94, passed away Oct. 6, 2015.

Roca was born Jan 23, 1921 in the Philippines to Roque and Josefa Gurdiel. She graduated from Silliman University with a Bachelor of Science in education. She taught first grade and was a health coordinator Miputak School District. She was also an active member of the Catholic Woman’s League. 

Roca is survived by her husband, Rodolfa; children Leila (Jesse) Navales; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and sisters Josefa, Alicia, Miranda and Zenaida. 

Roca was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Susan; and brothers Aristoteles, Antonio and Roque II. 

A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Therese of the Child Jesus Catholic Church.
