Bessie W. Reese Reedeker

SALT LAKE CITY — Bessie W. Reese Reedeker passed away in late November 2012.

Reedeker was born on June 9, 1924 in Fillmore to Milt and Noreen Warner.

Reedeker graduated from the LDS College of Nursing in 1947 and served the country as a military nurse. She married Neil Reese at her childhood home. She converted to Catholicism and was very active in Saint Ambrose Parish, was a member of the Catholic Woman’s League and actively volunteered at every opportunity to help others.

After the death of her first husband, she married Herman Reedeker, and was married by her very dear friend, Monsignor William E. Vaughan at Saint Ambrose Church. She volunteered and was a member of the Ladies Oriental Shrine and culminated her time with them by serving as a Grand High Priestess.
