SALT LAKE CITY — Beth Hansen Burns, 75, died at her home Feb. 22, 2011. She was a member of Saint Ann Parish. Burns was born Feb. 24, 1935, in Salt Lake City. She was raised in South Salt Lake and graduated from Granite High School. She married Kenneth Richard Burns on July 17, 1953. She supported him faithfully for the next 57 years and dedicated her life to her family. She adored her grandchildren. She enjoyed the beauty of nature, gardening, reading, cooking and making crafts. She is survived by her husband Ken; children Mary Wells, Cher (Dean) Dust, Ken Burns Jr., Lisa (Rudy) Chacon, Ann Foote and Mike (Gaylene) Burns; grandchildren Tige, Trent, Steven, Todd, Jill, Bryan, Lindsay, Dylan, Carly, Michael, Kayla, Sara, Jessica and Angel; eight great -grandchildren. A funeral Mass was celebrated at Saint Ann Catholic Church. Committal was in Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
