The Intermountain Catholic won three awards in the 2014 Utah Press Association Better Newspaper Contest. In the Group 3 circulation category, Gary Topping (right) took third place, Feature Column; the Most Rev. John C. Wester, Bishop of Salt Lake City (left), took second place, Editorial; and Laura Vallejo (center), took first place, Feature Story.
