CLEVELAND, Ohio — Father Walter A. Reindeau, S.S.S., age 85. Member of the Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament for 63 years and an ordained priest for 57 years. Beloved son of the late Walter and Leontine; dear brother of Jeanne Sisson and Teri Crane and the late William, Edward and Patricia Matte. Fr. Walter served as Vicar General and Procurator to the Holy See. He also served in numerous positions of leadership in the United States. He served in the Diocese of Salt Lake City as: Associate Pastor, Sacred Heart Parish Director of St. Paul’s Chapel and Paraclete Shop Judge of the Tribunal - Two 6 year terms Pastor, Saint Patrick Parish, Eureka Saint John Bosco Mission, Delta Holy Family Mission, Fillmore San Andres Parish, Payson Mission of Our Lady of Victory, Nephi The Congregation would appreciate contributions in memory of Fr. Walter to the Blessed Sacrament Education Fund for Seminarians, 5384 Wilson Mills Rd, Highland Heights, OH 44143. Funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 12, 2008 at the Regina Health Center in Ohio. The Congregation received friends at the interment, All Souls Cemetery.
