Bobcat Summer Camp

The Bobcat Summer Camp is under way at Little Blessings Extended Day Care at Blessed Sacrament School.  On June 10, Officer Jeff West of the Unified Police Department visited the campers and discussed several important safety areas. After the presentation, campers were able to tour the police truck and see all the bells and whistles. Officer West has been a law enforcement officer for 32 years and, for the past 17 years, he has taught the D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) curriculum to 5th graders as well as visiting lower grades for a variety of lessons.
