SALT LAKE CITY — Brenda Jean (Umiljenovich) Kane, 61, passed away Nov. 9, 2011.

Kane was born Oct. 30, 1950 to Michael and Lou-Jean Brown Umiljenovich. She married Joe Kane on Feb. 5, 1977 in Park City at Saint Mary Catholic Church and together they raised six children.

Kane is survived by her husband; children Eric (MaryLou), Adam, Matthew, Melanie (Josh), Nicholas, Stephanie; grandchildren; siblings Julie (Aaron) Huffman, Lisa (Jerry) Foster; and many nieces and nephews.

Kane was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Stephen Umiljenovich.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church.
