The Intermountain Catholic took second place in the 2013 Catholic Press Association Awards contest in the photo category of Best Still Life. This particular category was not dependent on circulation, so the Intermountain Catholic competed against all of the CPA members, regardless of size. The judges’ comment was, "Just the right amount of elements to illustrate the season. Works well with the layout and text."
