Julia Colosimo of Juan Diego Catholic High School and Gabrielle Regenhardt of Judge Memorial Catholic High School were among the 35 recipients of the 2012 Leaders and Achievers Scholarships from the Comcast Foundation. The scholarships were presented May 16 at the Utah State Capitol Rotunda. Ten of the students also were given netbook computers for college. "These students, are our future leaders and we are excited to award them scholarships," said Rodrigo Lopez, Regional Vice President for Comcast-Utah. "Comcast awards scholarships to students who demonstrate leadership abilities in school activities, reflect a strong commitment to community service and have high academic standards.
