SaLem, ore. — Cecilia Gonzales Lyons passed away Feb. 14, 2014. Lyons was born June 13, 1952, in Salt Lake City. She was prayerful, strong, funny, adventurous, loving and at times completely inappropriate. She was a dedicated social worker for the State of Oregon and worked diligently with Native Americans and the elderly. Lyons is survived by husband James; sons Sonny Anthony and Michael; mother Lucy; siblings Randall (Tamera), Shirley (Roger) Mares, Vincent, Alex (Kerry), Laura (Daniel) Adams, and Brian ( Kristene); grandchildren and many extended family members. She was preceded in death by her father, Epifanio. Funeral services were held in Salem, Ore.
