Cheryl June Strutzel Urban

ST. GEORGE — Cheryl June Strutzel Urban died Oct. 12, 2015 from cancer. 

Urban was born Oct. 5, 1967 in New Haven, Conn., but lived most of her life in northern New Jersey. She worked for the public defender’s office, a job she truly loved. Urban had a gentle and caring spirit that touched many hearts. 

When diagnosed with cancer, she moved to Apple Valley, Utah, with her parents to begin treatments.

She is survived by her father, George A. Strutzel Jr.; mother, Carole Anne Strutzel; sister, Lauren L. Boland; brother-in-law, Bob Boland; nephew, Liam Boland and niece, Madeline Boland. 

A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. George Catholic Church.
