Chester R. Pilarczyk

OGDEN — Chester R. Pilarczyk, 77, passed away on May 3, 2014.  

Pilarczyk was born on Aug. 31, 1936 in Chestohowa, Texas, to Leon and Sallie Mutz Pilarczyk. He married and was later divorced. He retired from Thiokol Corp. (ATK) Production Control Space Operations Final Assembly.  

Pilarczyk was a member of Saint James  the Just Catholic Church, also the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Aerie #2472 in Ogden; the American Legion in Huntsville; and the VFW in Ogden. He also enjoyed trips to Wendover.

Pilarczyk is survived by three sons: Rick (Shelly) Pilarczyk, Larry (Lainie) Pilarczyk and James (Jeana) Pilarczyk;  daughter Lori Pilarczyk (Paul) Patterson Russell; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother Leon (Alice) Pilarczyk; and sister Margaret Kolodziej. 

Pilarczyk was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister.

A memorial Mass was celebrated at St. James the Just Catholic Church.
