Christine Martini Burger

OGDEN — Christine Martini Burger, 51, died Dec. 31, due to complications of acute Myeloid Leukemia.

Burger was born in Ogden on Sept. 20, 1957, to Gelindo "Sonny" Martini, Jr., and Beverly Ann Brown Martini. She grew up in West Weber and graduated from Weber High School in 1975. She worked on the family farm, participating in the 4-H program. Dancing lessons were a huge part of her life while growing up. She married Randy B. Burger Oct. 21, 1992, in Ogden. They had two boys, who were the light of her life. She was their biggest fan at their football, basketball, and baseball games. She had a special fondness for children, and enjoyed tending for her sister and brothers. Family ties were important to her. She enjoyed spending time fishing, hunting, and 4-wheeling at Sourdough and Devil Creek Reservoir. She was a vital part of the family tradition of making homemade salami and sausage.

She is survived by her parents, Junior and Beverly Martini; husband, Randy; sons, Rowdy and Chase; sister Debbie (Danny) Dickmore; brothers, Scott Martini, and Dennis (Lucy) Martini; aunts; uncles; cousins; niece; nephews; in-laws Ron and Jan Burger; and extended family members.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at Saint James Catholic Church.
