SALT LAKE CITY — Christopher (Krzysztof) Aleksander Sikorski, passed away July 21, 2012 after a battle with cancer.

Sikorski was born July 26, 1953 in Warsaw, Poland and immigrated to the United States in 1981. He taught for over 30 years at Columbia University, N.Y., and at the University of Utah in the Computer Science Department.

Sikorski is survived by his wife, Elizabeth, son John (Monica), two grandchildren and sister Elizabeth.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at Saint Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church.
