SALT LAKE CITY — Connie B. Maez, 72, passed away June 13, 2013. Maez was born Sept. 25, 1940 to Joe P. and Margaret Gallegos in Monte Vista, Colo. She married Jose A. Maez June 15, 1956 in Magna. Maez is survived by her husband; four children: Connie Jo (Ken) Taylor, Tina (Jamey) Montoya, John, Mike (Dana); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers Fred (SueAnn), Raymond (JaNae) and Grant (Babet); and sisters Katherine and Martha. Maez was preceded in death by her parents, siblings LeRoy, Clifford and Grace, and grandson Nathan. A funeral Mass was celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
