Spanish Fork — Dan Edward Martin, 83, passed away Oct. 4, 2011 as a result of medical complications. Dan was born on Jan. 28, 1928 in Consumers, Utah. Martin retired from the Utah Railway as superintendent and later worked as a drug and alcohol addictions specialist. Martin is survived by his sister Laura (Sister Gladys Marie) Martin, his wife Kathy (Milano) Martin, daughter Colleen (Ray) Burdick, son Michael Martin, three stepchildren Suzie (Shane) Spensko, Tony C. Kokal IV, and Paul Kokal; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Martin was preceded in death by his parents Eddy and Gladys Martin, brother Jerry Martin, sisters Margaret (John) Perla, and Dorothy (Jerry) Booth. A funeral Mass was celebrated at San Andres Catholic Church.
