The annual Diocese of Salt Lake City Band Festival drew bands from five Utah Catholic schools to Juan Diego Catholic High School on Feb. 28.

Each elementary/middle school band was given the opportunity to play a few songs and then received critiques from a judge who volunteered to help the kids learn what competitions expect.

Juan Diego and Judge Memorial bands also put on a small concert to highlight their Jazz and concert bands.

Shown is the Saint Vincent de Paul School band.
