SALT LAKE CITY — Edwin X. Cardoso, 14, passed away on Oct. 24, 2012 after he was hit by a truck. Cardoso was born to Miguel Cardoso and Maria E. Torres. He was a freshman at West High School. He enjoyed playing video games with his friends and online every day after school, listening to his ipod, hiking, and going to Bernales Institute of Martial Arts to practice Muay Thai and Gracie Jiu Jitsu. A funeral Mass was celebrated at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
