SALT LAKE CITY — Elinor L. Salas, 78, died Jan. 8. Salas was born July 4, 1929, in McPhee, Colo., to Antonio and Stella Trujillo. She later moved to Utah. She married Willie M. Salas, who preceded her in death. Together they raised 13 children. She is best known for her loving and caring personality. She is survived by her children, Alice, Arthur (Red), Emily (Tom), Rosealie, Carmen (Ramiro), Joann, Willie (Nancy), Joe (Heather), Chantell (Rashad); 29 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; sister, Angie; one brother, Filbert; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A funeral Mass was celebrated at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Committal was in Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
