SALT LAKE CITY — Elizabeth Casaus, 64, passed away Oct. 6, 2012 after a hard fought battle with pulmonary fibrosis. Casaus was born March 3, 1948 to Joe and Mary Franco in Montrose, Colo. She married Albert Casaus on Oct. 10, 1969. She was also a breast cancer survivor. Casaus was preceded in death by her parents, brother Robert and grandmother Abelina Jaramillo. Casaus is survived by her husband, Albert; children Andrea Almanza, Vincent, Melinda Santiago (Mike) and Mario; 10 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and sisters Julia Vialpando and Alice Meza (Andy). A funeral Mass was celebrated at Saint Joseph the Worker Catholic Church.
