The Empty Bowls event to benefit Catholic Community Services’ Saint Vincent de Paul dining hall was held Sept. 6. At the event, 538 bowls were sold, raising almost $17,000 for the dining hall, which provided 533,000 hot meals to those in need last year. Bowls not sold at the event are available for purchase through Sept. 20 at https://ccsutah.org/news/empty-bowls or at the dining hall, 437 West 200 South, SLC, Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
