SALT LAKE CITY — Ernest James Bianchi, 84, passed away April 4, 2012.

Bianchi was born Nov. 17, 1927 in Bingham Canyon to James and Grace Bianchi. He married Darlene Moffitt on Nov. 23, 1955. He served in the U.S. Army as an staff sergeant. He taught night school for 29 years through the Adult Education Program and was a member of the Catholic Church.

Bianchi is survived by son Daniel (Carrie) Bianchi, daughter Diane (Milt) Moltich, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, four brothers and one sister.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
