MAGNA — Esperanza Ocampo Dungo, 87, passed away Oct. 29, 2012. Dungo was a beautiful woman inside and out with a compassionate soul that captivated everyone. Her fantastic cooking skills have been passed from generation to generation. Her distinct and warm scent was always recognizable and comforting, while her beautiful smile always showed through her signature red lips. Above all else, her strength and faith were insurmountable to bring her family through even the toughest of times. She loved and was loved unconditionally. Dungo is survived by her husband, Eduardo; six children: Dante, Nita, Grace, Elizabeth, Maria and Rodney; and countless grandchildren and great grandchildren. A funeral Mass was celebrated Nov. 1 at St. Joseph’s Villa.
