SALT LAKE CITY — F. Ann McIntyre Simmons, 74, died Nov. 5, in Seattle, Wash. Simmons was born Dec. 24, 1931, in Mammoth, Utah, to Frank and Ada Longley McIntyre. She was the granddaughter of Samuel McIntyre, prominent in ranching and mining, and was a Utah pioneer. She attended St. Mary of the Wasatch, and then graduated from the University of Utah in business administration in 1953. She was a lifelong member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority. She began working for United Air Lines in 1953. She worked in reservations for 35 years in Salt Lake City, Portland, Seattle, and San Francisco. She married Harry Robert Simmons June 25, 1983. She retired in 1987. Simmons was an officer and director of Samuel McIntyre Investment Co. She was an active member of the Catholic Church. Grave side services were held at Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
