The Garden Place project at This Is The Place Heritage Park in Salt Lake City held its grand opening June 29. The park’s new area includes the Walk of Pioneer Faiths, which features monuments to nine faiths that were established in Utah during the pioneer period. At the June 29 opening, representatives of those nine faiths were recognized. The Most Rev. John C. Wester, Bishop of Salt Lake City, gave the dedication during the program. He is shown in front of the Catholic Church monument with Michael Imperiale, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church in Salt Lake City.
