SALT LAKE CITY — Federico Estrada Reyes, 82, passed away March 21, 2012.

Reyes was born June 10, 1929 to Ascencion Reyes and Carmen Estrada. He was with the 101st Airborne Division, the "Screaming Eagles." He married Clara Laguna in 1952. He coached his grandchildren and other children in T-Ball and little league baseball for Saint Ann School and Church for over five years and was a member of the 4th Degree Knights of Columbus. He was a member of the men’s club, and when the call came for building the new Saint Ann Church on 2100 South and 5th East, and large rocks needed to be removed from the field, he took his son Fred to clear the way.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at Saint Ann Catholic Church.
