Fred Bullock Tedesco

KEARNS — Fred Tedesco died on Oct. 5, after fighting a courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis. Tedesco was born Nov. 18, 1940 to Fred “Feets” Tedesco and Klea Bullock Tedesco.
Tedesco graduated from East High School in 1959. He married Paulette Fassio on Aug. 20, 1966. He spent 24 years with the South Salt Lake Police Department, where he retired in 1991 as a captain. After a few months, he realized retirement was not for him and spent the next 20 years with the U.S. Marshall’s Office court security at the Federal Building; he retired 2011. 
Tedesco loved spending time with his boys Bianco, Tuscany and Tauca; his family and friends. He always had a joke to tell and stories to share. He enjoyed spending time in the outdoors – fishing, golfing, camping, boating and duck hunting. He was a member of the Harrison Duck Club for 47 years and on the Board of Directors at the Harrison for 10 years.
Tedesco is survived by his wife Paulette; daughter Lisa (Tony); son Brian (Jill); grandchildren TJ, Shaylin, Andrew and Emily; sister Winkie (Dennis); and several nieces and nephews. 
Tedesco was preceded in death by his father, Fred Tedesco, Sr.; mother, Kea Bullock Tedesco; stepmother, Rosie Tedesco; sister, Charlene; brother-in-law, Orin Hunter; and father-in-law, Chester Fassio.
A funeral Mass was celebrated at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to St. Francis Xavier School, 4501 West 5215 South, Kearns, UT 84118.
