George A. Lacombe

SALT LAKE CITY — George A. Lacombe, 87, passed away Feb. 9, 2012.

Lacombe was born Nov. 10, 1924 in Manchester, N.H., to Andrew Lacombe and Mabel Welcome Lacombe. He served on carriers in the Pacific Theater during World War II. He married Nina Calveard June 13, 1953.

Lacombe was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth Munter and Blanche Keane.

Lacombe is survived by his wife, Nina; daughter Robben Ann; three nieces and four nephews.

A funeral Mass was at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
