SALT LAKE CITY — Gladys Lovato Diaz, 71, passed away Aug. 12, 2011.

Diaz was born Nov. 15, 1939 in Sopris, Colo. and grew up in Standardville, Utah. She was a devout member of Saint Vincent de Paul Parish.

Diaz is survived by brothers Joe and Mick, sister Shirley, daughter Stacy, son Michael, son Steven and granddaughter Haleigh.

Diaz was preceded in death by Andrew, her husband, her parents Fred and Clara Lovato, Rudy (brother), and Rosalie (sister).

A funeral Mass was celebrated at Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
